Acquisitions!

Fresh from the Loopy Ewe, 2 new duplicate colours. I was hoping the Pansy yarn would be a good match for Jeanie, but no luck. The ruby is also a duplicate because i want knee socks. Wow did they arrive fast!

Singular sock progress

Probably because I started it in April, this singular Hiiumaa sock has seemed to drag on and on. I am pushing to finish it up before I succumb to the temptation to start a new pair. I'm running low on green yarn and i'm curious to see what will end first- the yarn or the sock.

Knitting on the road

A finished object! Knitted completely on the road, these road trip socks even have their ends woven in, though they could use a good blocking. Many pics and details to follow.

More on acquisitions

Even better, my 6 new skeins are from home grown, well loved family alpacas. The cousins scooped the poop and now i can knit the yarn. More pictures to follow when i get a chance to upload from my camera.

Actual knitting progress

I have knitted on nothing but leg warmers in the past few weeks. They have slowly approached their limit, and now need only one more 4-row repeat before I start on the upper cuffs. Onward leg warmers!

At last! The weather is lovely and i can sit outside and knit at lunch. I turned 2 heels this weekend and i'm working steadily up the leg.

Thrice as nice

Live from baggage claim... Travelers every where are celebrating the sock's progress. It has tripled its length during travel. Sadly, it will be promptly neglected.

Live from the SeaTac airport... Yes i had several works in progress, but i always like a special travel project. This shows my total progress for the short trip. I did have to rip out several rows yesterday because apparently i cannot count to 3 while attending class.

A little springtime

Thanks to springer.com, we have a little burst of colour in our office. This promotional gift arrived a few months ago and has been my job to tend. Johnny jump-ups are great in salads, but these are just for visual enjoyment

Mittens

New mittens. With candle flame blocked, i've started some soaring eagle mittens. My paper involves a lot of waiting for pages to load so That's knitting time mixed in to homework time. Yay!

In progress

A work in progress! I started this late last night, after submitting the last deliverables for my information architecture class. This morning's knitting has already used up the first ball, now i'm worried that 2 isn't enough.

Deep freeze

Still working on freezing all my wool stuffing. The days have been cold, but not consistently frozen, yet.
