Mini mystery skeins

While shopping in yarn stores for buttons, I discovered a little basket of sock-yarn skeinlets. They were sold by the ounce, and I bought a little selection that was about 1.2 ounces. It cost me $3.10.

Once I got home, I realised I wouldn't be able to classify the yarn on ravelry! I quite think the purple is Auracania, with the way it sticks to itself, but the pink is some merino superwash. I cranked out some teeny-tiny newborn booties. The picture shows how much yarn was left after making four booties. I have woven in about two thirds of the ends. More button shopping is in order!

Nice score on the yarn! The booties are adorable.
